TECH - SMART GRID AND GREEN ENERGY
Abstract:
Smart
grid is the revolutionary undertaking technology over the old grid
technologies. It has automated and improved control systems, Renewable energy
sources, Generation models and adherence to cross-jurisdictional regulatory
structures. In old grids there is no two way communication between the utility
and customers. And there is no any sensing along the transmission. That’s why
we need smart grids. In principle, the smart grid is an upgrade of the common
electricity grids that operate mostly to provide one-way power from several
major power plants to a large number of consumers. This upgrade is expressed in
the ability to operate in conditions of uncertainty in order to route the power
supply in an optimal way that responds to a wide variety of situations, to
encourage users in off-peak hours and charge premium rates from consumers who
use energy during peak hours. The key to this capability is fast, accurate and
two-way transmission of information between all parts of the grid. The mission
of our approach is to get maximised continuous power with minimised loss and to
provide an automated sensing technology along the production and transmission
of power by using green energy such
as renewable sources connected to the smart grid in various manner, we can get
the assured energy from those sources. Guarantee to provide cleaner environment
and sustainable energy for the future. Its economy contributions and benefits
are huge when compared to the current network distribution.
